Pastor Richard Keane

Dr. Richard Keane is purposefully driven with a passion for the enhancement and development of his fellow man. His is a nation builder, and his heart is for physical health, emotional stability, and knowing God as Father through Jesus Christ.
Born in Kingston, Jamaica, he graduated from the University of the West Indies with a Bachelor’s in Medicine and a Bachelor’s in Surgery. Dr. Keane served his one-year Internship at the Spanish Town hospital, and his Residency at the Cornwall Regional Hospital, Montego Bay, St James, where he worked for 3 years. He further established a Family Practice in the City of Montego Bay where he served the community for 11years.
In November 1990 He responded to the Call to full time ministry, at Family Church On The Rock ,(FCOTR) and now serves as Apostle since August 2018. FCOTR will celebrate its 35th year of ministry this November.
Apostle Richard’s vast medical, community service and experiences, entails various outreach and volunteer ministries for the surrounding communities of St James, Hanover and Westmoreland. He is a long-standing member of The Peace Management Initiative West and currently serves as the Chairman of the Board.
Dr Keane is a member of the Board of the Good Shepherd Foundation, which oversees the Hope Teaching Medical Clinic In Montego Bay. Apostle Richard is a Marriage Officer of the Island of Jamaica since 1998 as well as a Justice of the Peace since 2003.
Married to Karene Joye for 45 years, he is the father of three adult daughters and four grandchildren.
An avid horticulturist, he is a lover of exotic birds and fishes.
