Each time we get together we are even closer to our Lords return. I believe that times of fellowship among ministers are especially important in the day we are living in. We need each other’s encouragement and prayers. I hope to see you at our next minister’s dinner fellowship. The meeting will be at the usual time, the second Thursday of the month May 13th at 6:30 PM. We will be having our fellowship and dinner at Red Lobster in Springfield. The address is 2141 S. Glenstone Ave. We will be meeting in the private room in the back.
If you know of other ministers who could use some good fellowship invite them to any of the ICFM fellowship dinner meetings. They do not have to be members of ICFM, just licensed or ordained ministers (their spouse is always welcome). Please let me know or call the office to let us know you are coming. The office number is 417-272-1959. You can also let me know by calling or texting my cell phone (417-839-8082). It always helps to know how many are coming.
I encourage you to make your reservations for the 43rd Annual ICFM International Convention that will be held in Dallas, Texas June 21-24. You can find more information and register at http://icfm.org/2021convention.
Why should you attend? Sermon Central lists four reasons why pastors should attend conferences, seminars, and/or workshops:
I also wanted to let you know in advance about the July fellowship meeting. We are going to try something a little different. We will be meeting for brunch at Billy Gail’s at 11:00 AM. The address is 1882 W James River Rd, Ozark, MO. We pray that will work for everyone. The meeting will be the first Thursday of July (instead of the second Thursday), July 1st. Plan to be there.
Again, let me know if you can attend the dinner on May 13th. I pray for you all and I am believing that you are prospering and in health as you serve the Lord with joy.
See you soon,
Pastor Dan Olson
